Of the Nature of Love
Love, free and flowing
Love, a tree that’s growing
You can see the leaves and buds a’bursting
You can feel the breeze, the roots are thirsting
This is of the nature of Love.
Love, new and knowing
Love, a river that’s flowing
The current is strong but beneath is still
Forever flows on and always it will
This is of the nature of Love.
The nature of Love is defined in extremes
The rigors of reality and delitement of dreams
It’s rain in a desert dry and the darkness of the sun
It’s full of sound and fury yet unheard by everyone
This is of the nature of Love.
Love, sure and showing
Love, a storm that’s blowing
While rain pours down, the wind blows about
But the storm moves on and removes all doubt
This is of the nature of Love.
Love, eternal and ongoing
Love, a fire that’s glowing
A spark at the start evolves into flame
The coals of the heart tender Love’s name
This is of the nature of Love.
